What is Botulinum Toxin?

Botulinum Toxin is a powerful neurotoxin protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum that blocks nerve signals to muscles, causing temporary paralysis of muscles.

What's the consultation process?

You must book a face to face consultation to discuss your concerns, goals and whether you are suitable for treatment. If suitable the treatment will then be prescribed.

How does it work?

Administered in tiny quantities into specific muscles. Botulinum Toxin works by blocking the release of acetylcholine which is a neurotransmitter that tells muscles to contract. As these muscles can no longer contract it smooths muscles and reduces appearance of wrinkles.

Ater a certain result?

Results can be tailored to you. Want more of a natural look with some movement? No Problem. Want a "Frozen" look no problem, however in some cases "Frozen" is not always achieveable but your desired look can be tailored to you.

What to expect after your treatment

Immediately afterwards you may notice small bumps in the skin where the Botulinum Toxin was injection but this will improve within 48hours. It can take 2 weeks to see results and you get a complimentary 2 week review with top up if required.

What areas can I treat?

Multiple areas on the face can be treated including the neck to relax muscles creating an 'anti-wrinkle' or lifting affect depending on the area being treated. The armpit area can also be treated in those with excessive sweating.
